MARITIMO (4) is a three-start maiden who finished fifth, beaten 4 lengths, when resuming from a lay-off last start over 6f at Doomben. Plenty of scope for improvement and is a great chance to break through. ZAYYANO (6) returned from a lay-off two weeks ago when he was beaten 6 lengths into ninth over 6½f at Gold Coast. Nicely placed to give this a mighty shake. FLYING VISION (9) finished out of the money when fresh from a lay-off two starts back then was beaten 2. 5 lengths when fifth in a 6½f contest at Ballina two weeks ago after being in contention on the bend. Needs to be at her best to beat this field but she has the ability to mix it with them. MILDURA LAD (11) resumed over 5f at Ballina last start and after showing little early speed hit the line with purpose to finish third, beaten 1. 1 lengths. Sure to be winding up strongly.
