THUNDEROUS (5) is a maiden galloper who hasn't raced since finishing 10 lengths back in 13th over 5½f in the Golden Gift at Rosehill three-and-a-half months ago. Looks to be in good order after placing in a trial. Great chance to break through. WANDERING JACK (1) finished second, beaten a neck, when resuming from a lay-off last start over 6f at Dubbo after he was in the firing line on the bend. This is an easier assignment and can take this out. ROSE BREA (6) made progress last time out, finishing 3.5 lengths from the winner in second at the end of 7f at Tuncurry. Goes up a rung or two but she is good enough to take this out. PARIS LAD (4) is a three-year-old gelding on debut from the stable of Brett Cavanough. By Under The Louvre from Catzel. Trialling in good style and looks forward enough. Top-three chance.
