SHOOTER MCGAVIN (2) raced on the speed last start and battled on well but found one better over 7f at this track. Going well enough to take this out. MISS MAHJONG (4) settled well back last start and never threatened when 4. 5 lengths from the winner in tenth over 6f at Caulfield Heath. Beautifully placed and is sure to play a major role. TEMPRANILLO (5) returns from a layoff of six-and-a-half months. Worth noting she filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last prep over 6f at Seymour. Looks a strong top-three prospect. Likely improver with strong top-three prospects.
