Meets a stronger field but she is worth serious consideration. ALPINE FOX (1) hasn't raced since finishing seventh at Bendigo over 6½f a month ago. Kept ticking over with a placing in a recent trial at Cranbourne. Well placed and is among the main chances. KEENI (9) drifted back on debut last start then wound up nicely to finish in the placings over 5f at Seymour. Jumps from a wide draw but she is among the leading chances. COYOTE (2) is building towards his maiden success, the latest effort a solid second over 5½f at Sale, beaten 0.8 lengths after being prominent at the bend. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways.
