Finds a tougher race but a win is not out of the question. KING'S CROSSING (10) proved too strong two runs ago at Pakenham Synthetic. Couldn't follow that up last time out when eighth over 1m3f at Pakenham Synthetic, beaten 7 lengths after being in the firing line on the turn. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he cannot be underestimated. GIFT OF ORATORY (9) finished 3.5 lengths away in fifth last time out over 1m3f at Pakenham Synthetic after being in contention on the corner four weeks ago. Steps up in journey. Has good early speed so should take up a forward position. One of the main contenders. ALHAMBRA PALACE (8) hasn't raced since finishing sixth at Sandown-Lakeside over 1m4f three-and-a-half weeks ago. Kept ticking over with a recent trial win at Warrnambool. Solid each-way chance.
