WATERSPORTS (12) showed good early pace last time and battled on gamely to finish just half a length from the winner in second over 1m at Pakenham. Can spear over from a wide draw. Finds a suitable race and can build on that solid recent effort. PRAY DAY (5) was in the money when resuming then met with strong support last time but could only manage failed to finish over 7f at Cranbourne. Fitter and deserves another chance. SNATCHED (9) was out of the money two runs back when fresh from a lay-off then again missed the frame last start over 6½f at Geelong, beaten 2.25 lengths into sixth. Has her share of ability and is a top-three prospect.
