CLOCK STRIKES (2) showed good early dash and raced on the speed last start before fading to finish 3 lengths back in fifth over 5f at Cranbourne. Will be on the speed in transit and is expected to take some running down. TOOMPINE (1) started at 9/1 last time and ran below expectations, finishing tenth and beaten 10 lengths at this track over 5f. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. WIND DREAMER (9) has been out of the winners list for a long time, last start finishing third at Avoca over 5½f. Meets a tougher line-up this time but is not to be discounted.
