That followed a win at Kilmore the start prior. Looks well placed so expect a better run this time. RULE OF SALEX (10) returns from a short break after a minor placing over 1m2 1/4f at Mornington a month ago. Fitness levels maintained by a recent Cranbourne trial placing. Worth plenty of thought. TESTING THE CUGAT (9) pushed forward from a wide draw last start and kept going to win by one length over 1m2f at Kilmore. Worth including. WINTER GRACE (5) was unplaced two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m at Pakenham, beaten 4 lengths into fifth. Well placed to turn things around.
