HORCRUX (1) finished ninth two runs back in the LR Placid Ark Stakes at this track then improved last time out to score by 2.25 lengths as favourite after being in the firing line on the corner over 5½f at this track. Stepping up a level this time but on his best form he is right in contention. NOAHQUINTILLY (4) came from well back on the bend and hit the line strongly to score over 7f at this track last time out. Key runner who can get home hard into the finish. MEAN MACHINE (3) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a strong race when fresh from a lay-off last time out, finishing second and beaten only 2.25 lengths over 5½f at this track. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is good enough to take this out. DEEL HER IN (9) won on debut last time out two weeks ago over 6f at Pinjarra Scarpside, getting home by 2 lengths. Right in the contest.
