RED TORI (7) has been in the market at her last couple of runs but failed to threaten, the latest effort a modest fifth at this track over 7½f. Can improve sharply. EL PATRON (3) pushed forward and went on to record a determined win last start by a nose over 1m at this track. Should settle handy in the run. Looks well placed so expect another big run. OUTSPOKEN LAD (1) ran a better race last start to finish a close second over 7½f at Albany after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Worth noting Clint Johnston-Porter goes aboard. Must raise the bar but he has the ability to test this field. MISS VASARI (4) bounced back last start and got the job done by 1.2 lengths over 7f at this track. Finds a suitable race and can play a major role again.
