MAJOR DESIRE (13) was quickly into stride and went on to score by 2.75 lengths last time out over 7f65yards at Queanbeyan. Should settle handy in the run. Looks well placed so expect another big run. CIRCA (15) ran below expectations last time at Swan Hill, finishing fifth and beaten 6 lengths starting at 9/1. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. SERGEANT MAVERS (10) fought on for third last start over 1m4 1/2f at Cranbourne, beaten 5 lengths to add to some fine recent form. Has his share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race.
