THE CUBAN (9) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 1.5 lengths when fifth in a 6f contest at Kyneton two weeks ago after being in contention on the corner. Nicely placed to take this out. FINAL CRACK (2) is struggling to break through but has been around the mark lately, last start finishing third over 7f at Canberra. Yet to break through at this trip but has registered three minor placings. Genuine contender. RICH DISPUTE (13) missed the frame last time out when 13th over 6f at Echuca. Still a maiden but has been in the money on three occasions. Has recorded two minor placings from five tries at this distance. Rates well and has the winkers removed. Shapes as one to consider.
