Marseille vs PSG tips and predictions: Mbappe and co to end unbeaten home record

The Parisians are heading toward another Ligue 1 title but Marseille are chasing European football and won’t roll over.

Despite tension between fans and management, they are the only team in France that is undefeated at home this season.

Marseille top the home table but sit seventh overall with 39 points. They struggle away from home, losing seven games on the road, including a recent 2-0 defeat at Rennes.

They’ve lost back-to-back games under Jean-Louis Gasset but won five on the spin before that and set up a Europa League quarter-final clash with Benfica.

It’s no surprise that PSG are on course for more domestic honours but they’re also in with a chance of the illusive Champions League trophy.

The visitors recently won 6-2 away against Montpellier, with Kylian Mbappe scoring a hat-trick, to extend their lead over Brest to 12 points.

In the previous encounter, PSG achieved a resounding 4-0 victory, with Achraf Hakimi, Randall Kolo Muani and Sergio Ramos scoring.

Notably, they also claimed a 3-0 triumph in their last visit to the Velodrome thanks to a brace from Mbappe and a goal from Lionel Messi.
