Getafe vs Real Madrid tips and predictions: Hosts to extend run of wins and clean sheets against neighbours

Vinicius Junior and Jude Bellingham
Getafe will take on Real Madrid at the Estadio Coliseum in Getafe on Thursday night (2000 GMT) in a rescheduled match in La Liga.
Getafe have lost two of the last three games in the league but Jose Bordalas' side did manage a win against Granada in their last game.
Mason Greenwood opened the score in the 21st minute and Borja Mayoral doubled their advantage in the 36th minute, but there was still time for the visitors to miss a penalty.
Real Madrid are locked in a title race with surprise challengers Girona so this game in hand is extremely important for Los Blancos, who will go top if they win.
Getafe are performing well by their standards. The team from Madrid is comfortably mid-table with 29 points and not embroiled in a relegation battle.
Carlo Ancelotti’s team managed a 2-1 win away against Las Palmas last weekend. They fell behind but Vinicius Junior and Aurellin Tchouameni helped Madrid to victory.
Before that, they managed another come-from-behind win, beating Almeria 3-2. They trailed 2-0 in that match but Jude Bellingham, Vinicuis and Carvajal spared their blushes.
Los Blancos are second in the league table at the moment, with 54 points, one less than Girona, but with a game in hand.
Given their dicey run of defensive form, Ancelotti’s side will be keen to keep things tight at the Estadio Coliseum.
They’ve kept a clean sheet in nine of 11 meetings with Getafe, winning eight of those. Both teams have scored just once in those matches.
