Europa League preview and betting tips: Sevilla to continue fantastic home form

Sevilla will play host to Juventus at the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan Stadium after drawing 1-1 in the first leg of the Europa League semi-finals.

After escaping Turin with a 1-1 draw, Sevilla can start to dream of a seventh Europa League trophy. Youssef En-Nesyri gave the Spanish side a 26th-minute lead in Italy, but Federico Gatti equalised in the 97th minute.

The first leg was similar to previous meetings between the sides, in that the sides played out a pair of low-scoring games in the 2015/16 season, followed by a stalemate in Italy the following year. Four of their last five meetings have had fewer than three goals.

Jose Luis Mendilibar is leading Sevilla towards an end of the season that could be memorable. The Andalusians, who were involved in a relegation battle at one point, are now pushing for European football.

If Sevilla were to win the Europa League, it will be the first time their 62-year-old manager has lifted a major trophy.

Sevilla's last outing saw them win 3-0 away to Real Valladolid, meaning they are now 10th in La Liga with 47 points, one less than Girona, the team currently occupying seventh.

Sevilla have enjoyed playing at home in recent months. Since March 19th, they've lost just one game, a 2-0 defeat against Girona in La Liga.

Suggested bet: Sevilla to win the match

Juventus are aiming for their first European trophy since 1996 and their confidence must be high after going undefeated in their last five matches. Massimiliano Allegri's team are close to securing their spot in next season's Champions League thanks to a 2-0 win over Cremonese last weekend.
The win took them to 69 points and leaves them three points ahead of Inter Milan who are third. The win means that nine of Juventus' last 10 matches have featured two or fewer goals.
It's worth noting that Juventus managed a win in their last away game, 2-0 against Atalanta, but this win was preceded by five away matches without a win, so they are vulnerable on their travels.
Sevilla's success in the Europa League is notorious and their home form in the competition has been imperious. The Spaniards are undefeated in the last 18 games as hosts in the Europa League.
This season has been no different as they've won their last three home Europa League matches, 3-0 against PSV, 2-0 against Fenerbache and 3-0 against Manchester United.

Suggested bet: Under 2.5 goals
