Bet builder January 15: Newcastle vs Watford

My first selection here is Newcastle to win (EVS). Only Man City have won at St James' Park in the last five.

STAT: Newcastle have lost as many home games this season as Manchester United, Aston Villa, Everton and Wolves (4)

While they're not playing brilliantly, and that might be kind, they are tougher to beat at home than you'd think. Some big names, including the under performing Manchester United, haven't won there of late either. They're good value for the win when you consider Watford problems away from home, and well, their problems generally.

The second selection is for debutant Chris Wood to score anytime (EVS). He comes in as a big money buy from Burnley, and his physicality is going to cause some big issues for a Watford back line who look, at time, quite easy to bully.

And the third and final selection is an assist for Kieran Tripper, who I'm backing any time (7/2). While it's a surprise that he hadn't registered an assist in La Liga this season, he got six of them last season, and with Chris Wood to aim at now, his chances will have only improved.
