Barca face competition for out-of-contract Liverpool midfielder; Man City monitor Messi and Haaland
The international break hasn’t stopped the transfer rumour mill across Europe, with several big names supposedly up for moves in the summer.
Barca face competition for Wijnaldum's signature
Liverpool and Netherlands midfielder Gini Wijnaldum is out of contract with the Reds in the summer, and clubs are lining up to try and sign the 30-year-old on a free transfer.
Barcelona are hot favourites to sign Wijnaldum, but Marca in Spain report that Barca are facing competition from Juventus, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain to sign the Dutchman.
"It would be really difficult [to leave] because if that happens, you will leave a team who you really love, who you have shared a lot of years together with and where you feel really comfortable," he said, per the Liverpool Echo.
City eyeing up both Messi and Haaland
Lionel Messi and Erling Haaland are both attracting interest from Manchester City, with the Sky Blues keeping the possibility open to try and sign both attackers in the summer, according to The Sun.
As Sergio Aguero will be leaving the Etihad this summer, Pep Guardiola is looking for a replacement and there would probably be no better signings in world football on current form than the young Norwegian and Argentine legend.
Haaland, meanwhile, is on a contract until 2024 with Borussia Dortmund so City would be likely to have to pay well over £100million for his services. However, Dortmund have stressed previously that they are not willing to sell the striker in the summer.
Pogba heading back to Juventus again?
Paul Pogba has been linked with another move back to Turin, with Tuttosport in Italy reporting that the Frenchman could be leaving Manchester United as early as this summer.
Juventus are said to be keen on bringing Pogba back to the club, in a potential swap deal that would see Argentina international Paulo Dybala head to Old Trafford.
