Barca face competition for out-of-contract Liverpool midfielder; Man City monitor Messi and Haaland

The international break hasn’t stopped the transfer rumour mill across Europe, with several big names supposedly up for moves in the summer.

Barca face competition for Wijnaldum's signature

Liverpool and Netherlands midfielder Gini Wijnaldum is out of contract with the Reds in the summer, and clubs are lining up to try and sign the 30-year-old on a free transfer.

Barcelona are hot favourites to sign Wijnaldum, but Marca in Spain report that Barca are facing competition from JuventusChelsea and Paris Saint-Germain to sign the Dutchman.

Wijnaldum has previously said he would be "devastated" to leave Anfield in the summer, but Camp Nou is appearing to be his next destination.

"It would be really difficult [to leave] because if that happens, you will leave a team who you really love, who you have shared a lot of years together with and where you feel really comfortable," he said, per the Liverpool Echo.

"It will be difficult but on the other side, you don't know the situation and why you have to leave, so it all depends on the situation.
"But I will be devastated that I am not going to play for this team anymore for sure."

Barcelona are odds-on at 1/6 to sign Wijnaldum in the summer window, with Inter Milan priced at 8/1 and Juventus at 25/1 with Sky Bet.

City eyeing up both Messi and Haaland

Lionel Messi and Erling Haaland are both attracting interest from Manchester City, with the Sky Blues keeping the possibility open to try and sign both attackers in the summer, according to The Sun.

As Sergio Aguero will be leaving the Etihad this summer, Pep Guardiola is looking for a replacement and there would probably be no better signings in world football on current form than the young Norwegian and Argentine legend.

While Messi is currently available on a free transfer in the summer, his wages are such that City will have to pay him an enormous amount of money to bring him to Manchester.

Haaland, meanwhile, is on a contract until 2024 with Borussia Dortmund so City would be likely to have to pay well over £100million for his services. However, Dortmund have stressed previously that they are not willing to sell the striker in the summer.

Messi is priced at 2/1 to be at Manchester City after the summer transfer window, with 2/1 also offered on a move to PSG with Sky Bet. Haaland, meanwhile, is 6/4 to make the move to the Etihad.

Pogba heading back to Juventus again?

Paul Pogba has been linked with another move back to Turin, with Tuttosport in Italy reporting that the Frenchman could be leaving Manchester United as early as this summer.

Juventus are said to be keen on bringing Pogba back to the club, in a potential swap deal that would see Argentina international Paulo Dybala head to Old Trafford.

Pogba has already spent four years with the Serie A club after leaving the Red Devils as a youngster, so another move to Juve would see his career see-saw between the clubs once again.

However, it's PSG who are favourites to sign Pogba in the summer window, available at 3/1 with Sky Bet - while Juventus and Real Madrid are both at 7/1 to secure his signature.
