Value to be had in backing the Strictly Come Dancing outsiders: Peaty, Ramsay...

Adam Peaty may have missed out on kissing Katya but he could be puckering up to the Glitterball come December.

EastEnders actress Rose Ayling-Ellis remains favourite to win Strictly Come Dancing but if Bill Bailey's victory last year taught us anything, it's that it isn't necessarily the best dancer who lifts the Glitterball.

So while Ayling-Ellis, John Whaite and AJ Odudu remain front-runners, it might still be worth looking outside the top three in the betting.

Here, we take a look at those celebrities who may just offer a spot of Strictly value.

Adam Peaty

A stunning performance alongside professional dance partner Katya Jones had tongues wagging; was he going to kiss her, or was it all part of the performance? Whatever the case, those hips don't lie, and we'd be shocked if this gold medal-winning Olympian was sent home anytime soon.
Will he be puckering up to the Glitterball come December? You never know.

Tom Fletcher

The McFly frontman showed he's shaken off the nerves he had coming into the competition, demanding respect from the judges with an impressive Foxtrot. He has the technically-tricky Salsa coming up this week, so Obviously it'll be a true test of whether he has what it takes to go all the way. It's All About You, Tom.

Sara Davies

Back in Week 1, we thought Davies would be the first elimination after a lacklustre Cha-Cha-Cha but then she returned and shocked everybody with her Foxtrot (in a good way, not like Greg Wise's Samba).
After picking up four scores of nine this past weekend for her Tango, she's suddenly one of the competition's dark horses.

Everybody loves a down-to-earth Geordie, right?

Tilly Ramsay

A couple of weeks back, we said Tilly Ramsay would be one to watch and we stand by that claim.

Improving each week, she is taking in all of the advice given to her by professional dancer Nikita Kuzmin. And, if she keeps getting positive comments from the judges, she could be the series' biggest surprise of all.
