Soap stars set to go down a storm when I’m a Celebrity returns

Simon Gregson is the new favourite to win I’m A Celebrity, with EastEnders' Adam Woodyatt also one to watch.

There has been some rough weather over the past few days to say the very least; so much so that filming on this year's series of I'm A Celebrity couldn't continue, with editing stations, marquees and more blown apart by the villainous Storm Arwen.
Many wondered if production would cease for the entire year and the 2021 edition would be cancelled but, in a message on Monday, ITV confirmed that the celebrities had been placed back into Castle Gwrych in Wales, and that a new episode would be going out on Tuesday.
Having been left in limbo, punters have been placing their bets on who they think will come back better and stronger than ever, and it seems one famous face in particular has piqued the interest of viewers.
Here's the new favourite to win I'm A Celebrity 2021 - as well as four other celebs who may be worth backing…

Simon Gregson

With odds of 9/4 to win the competition, being a latecomer to the show hasn't affected Coronation Street legend Simon Gregson's chances at all!
Now the new favourite to win it all, he could follow in the footsteps of soap stars such as Joe Swash and Jacqueline Jossa who have managed to go all the way.
No Corrie actor has managed to claim the crown in the past; could Steve McDonald be the man to break that run of bad luck?

David Ginola

David Ginola's wicked personality and dry sense of humour have been a massive hit with the fans - and who can blame the audience for swooning when he took off his shirt within just a few days of arriving in camp?
A legend on the pitch, he could very well carve his name into the legacy of this much-loved ITV series…

Snoochie Shy

At 7/1 to win, but with one of the most infectious and positive personalities in the camp, Snoochie could be the dark horse of this competition.
She's already tackled a handful of trials and done extremely well in each of them; if she gets more airtime in the coming days, she could be a real contender for the Queen of the Castle title.
She just has to make sure that the excitable aspects of her personality don't start to become a tad overbearing. A tough ask for a radio host!

Adam Woodyatt

There have been a number of EastEnders stars who have gone on to win I'm A Celeb in the past, so Adam's odds of 8/1 are definitely worth jumping on if you think he has what it takes to follow in their footsteps.
Though many aren't the biggest fan of his Walford character Ian Beale, the star himself has shown to be far and away from the grumpy persona he's asked to portray. Keep an eye on him; unless he has a major meltdown, those odds are only going to shorten.

Matty Lee

It looks like a long shot for gold medal Olympian Matty Lee to become this year's King of the Castle with odds of 40/1 to win, but who knows what he's been up to in the days leading up to the show's return?
He could come back into camp with a story to tell and claim the spotlight. Having already proven he's a respectable young gentleman after sharing a camp with just female campmates for the first few days, he could snatch the hearts of the voting public.
