Verdict

Following an inconsistent start to the Super League season, St Helens are beginning to build serious momentum.

Paul Wellens has watched his team win four successive games across all competitions and three in the Super League.
The last of those victories came at home against Huddersfield Giants as the defending champions put on a clinic and powered to a 48-6 win.
That was certainly far less intense than their epic golden point 13-12 victory over Leeds Rhinos the week prior.
Wigan, on the other hand, have hit a few road bumps in recent times.
Matt Peet and his men kicked off the month of May with back-to-back league defeats to Hull FC and Leeds Rhinos.
Last week, the Warriors suffered their third defeat in five games as they were beaten 46-22 by the Catalans Dragons on home turf.
Despite the recent slip-ups, Wigan have a strong record against St Helens and they will be intent on maintaining that run this Friday.
The Warriors have won three of their last four head-to-head encounters, though none of them came at the Totally Wicked Stadium. In fact, Wigan have only recorded one victory in seven trips to St Helens.

With that in mind, we're backing the hosts to avenge their 14-6 defeat to Wigan last April. St Helens to win the match by a 1-12 point margin is our tip.
