Premier League Darts tips, prediction and best bets: MVG bounces back, Littler reaches Night 4 final

Week one winner Luke Humphries let us down last week as we backed Cool Hand to respond with a win after a disappointing showing on Night 2.

He was nowhere to be seen in the final, as the Iceman Gerwyn Price beat Nathan Aspinall 6-3 to claim the title.

Price and Humphries meet on Night 4 in Exeter, which kicks off with Michael van Gerwen taking on Rob Cross.

The night begins with Mighty Michael van Gerwen taking on Rob Cross, who bowed out at the first hurdle in the last two weeks of action.

He narrowly got the better of Stephen Bunting on week one, but he couldn’t build on that performance as he crashed out to Chris Dobey.

MVG has reached the quarterfinals in each of his three appearances at the tournament and has a very winnable game, so he should extend that record.

After hitting nine 180s across two matches in weeks one and two respectively, the Dutchman managed just a pair last week, so we expect him to bounce back with better scoring.

Gerwyn Price and Luke Humphries looks like a super clash coming at the right time, as the Englishman will be even keener to bounce back after two disappointing showings.

On the other hand, the fiery Welshman is playing fantastic darts and has nothing to fear. The fact he’s a 6/4 underdog is well worth consideration.

Luke Littler’s path to the final looks as good as you could hope for in this competition, with MVG, Humphries and Price all on the other side of the draw.

Despite winning Night 2, the talented youngster suffered first-round exits on either side of that, so he’ll be keen to make the most of this evening’s draw.
