Premier League Darts tips, prediction and best bets: Flying Luke Littler targets Night 5 glory in Brighton

Fresh from his UK Open triumph, Luke Littler turns his attention back to Premier League matters as the darting rodeo heads to Brighton.
Littler enjoyed a tremendous run in Minehead as he defeated the likes of Peter Wright, Gian van Veen and Jonny Clayton before destroying James Wade 11-2 in the final.
The Nuke took home £110,000 in prize money and he will now be looking to add another £10,000 as Premier League Darts enters Night 5.
Here, we take a closer look at Thursday’s line-up and pick out some of the best bets along the way.
Good luck and please gamble responsibly.

Premier League Darts – Night 5 fixtures
Gerwyn Price v Michael van Gerwen
Luke Littler v Chris Dobey
Rob Cross v Luke Humphries
Stephen Bunting v Nathan Aspinall
Littler’s heroics in Minehead make him a strong contender for the Night 5 Premier League crown. The Nuke reached the final in Exeter last week but came up short against Luke Humphries in the final.
The two Lukes are placed in opposing ends of the draw, meaning another all-Luke final is on the cards.
Cool Hand Luke arrives in Brighton having reached the quarter-final at the UK Open. The former world champion was knocked out by James Wade after making a meal of his doubles.
In this short format, Humphries needs to rediscover his double-hitting – especially if he is to give Littler a run for his money.
Humphries kicks off Night 5 against Rob Cross who is an opponent he has struggled against in the past. Cross has won five of the last seven head-to-heads, though it was Humphries who prevailed earlier in this Premier League season.
Littler, on the other hand, takes on Chris Dobey. Hollywood made a flying start to his season when reaching the Night 1 final in Belfast. Since then, Dobey has failed to make it past the quarter-finals.
Another tasty encounter sees Gerwyn Price and Michael van Gerwen go head-to-head.
Both men were knocked out early at the UK Open and both were sent packing at the first hurdle on Night 4 in Exeter.
Speaking of going home early, Stephen Bunting and Nathan Aspinall will be looking to make a dent in their campaigns. Bunting is yet to win a single Premier League game, while Aspinall is improving but has been eliminated in the first round in two of the four weeks.
Looking at form guides, we’re backing Littler and Humphries to make the final, with Littler to go all the way. Aspinall to beat Bunting is another good addition to your Thursday night bet builder.
