Luke Littler in Premier League Darts action

Luke Littler in Premier League Darts action

The biggest and most prestigious roadshow in darts is coming to an end as the four remaining players battle it out for the Premier League Darts title this Thursday night.

Four months of intense action has taken us across 16 cities, seven countries and provided pure tungsten entertainment to thousands of fans.

However, all good things come to an end and that includes the 2025 Premier League Darts season which is set for a special O2 Arena climax over in London.

Luke Littler, who finished top of the table, will be looking to claim back-to-back Prem titles – a potentially unprecedented achievement considering the Nuke only turned 18-years-old in January.

Littler will take on fourth-placed finisher Gerwyn Price in the semi-finals which should make for a very tasty clash.

There have been five 9-darters in the Premier League this season, with Littler and Price contributing to three of them.

The Welshman, who produced two perfect legs this season, has a good head-to-head record against his teenage rival, beating him in six of the previous eight meetings.

However, Littler will take a lot of encouragement from the fact he has won the two most recent meetings in the Premier League.

The Nuke will also have momentum on his side having won the final night of the regular season, beating Luke Humphries in the final in Sheffield.

Speaking of Cool Hand Luke, the Leeds United fan is still looking for his first Premier League triumph.

Humphries was beaten by Littler in the final last season and will be looking to avenge that loss when arrives in the capital.

Before he can plot his plan of action for the final, the 30-year-old will first have to navigate his way through Nathan Aspinall.

Winning two nights and making three semi-finals over the last six weeks helped the Asp to seal his spot in the top four with flying colours.

The 33-year-old is a former Premier League finalist, losing the 2020 showpiece to Glen Durrant during a covid-delayed season.

There isn’t much to separate both men in the head-to-heads, considering both boast a couple of wins each from their four previous meetings.

Both men have also played well in the final few weeks of the regular season, meaning we could be in for a juicy encounter.

In terms of tips, we are backing Humphries and Aspinall to be involved in a close game. Over 16.5 legs is our recommendation at a tasty 10/11.

In the tasty semi-final between Littler and Price, we are backing the teenager to hit most 180s at around the 8/13 mark.

Lastly, we are putting our chips on Littler to defend his Premier League title and lift the famous trophy for the second year running.
