Punchestown racing tips: Killashee Handicap Hurdle - Tax For Max and Cash Back for each-way value

This handicap hurdle is something of a pinstickers’ paradise (or nightmare!), so we’re looking to our friends at Tipstrr to guide us towards some each-way value.

16:50 Killashee Hotel Handicap Hurdle (Grade B)
This third hurdle race is run over the same track and trip as the opening two events, and with 18 runners to choose from, there are plenty with realistic claims here.
Last year's winner, Felix Desjy, completed a Festival hat-trick inside the first three races for Gordon Elliott, and he is well-represented again here with three runners (one less than Willie Mullins).
One of them is last year's favourite, Glan, who might be worth considering at a more attractive price this year than when he pulled up following a mistake 12 months ago.

There's certainly each-way value in abundance here, and one of the most widely-selected on Tipstrr is one from the Mullins yard, Tax For Max, who won over this course and distance on soft ground back in November.

After finishing well down the field in the Coral Cup at Cheltenham last month, he bounced back with a more assured display 17 days ago at Fairyhouse, where he finished a more than creditable fifth of 16 behind the highly-rated Monbeg Park.

Suggested bet: Tax For Max in the 16:50 at Punchestown

Further down the betting, both Grand Roi and Cash Back are popular picks on Tipstrr, and we're plumping for the latter, who is another of Willie Mullins' candidates.

Cash Back looks capable of building on his three consecutive frame finishes in minor events since the turn of the year.
