Ayr each-way racing tip: Conditions look perfect for One Last Hug

Tipstrr’s racing experts have dipped into Saturday evening’s Ayr racecard to bring their best-value selection from a competitive-looking sprint.

19:37 Ayr: Specsavers Handicap (6 furlongs)

The only two horses bringing a last-time-out success to the Ayr track are Kats Bob and Caribbean Sunset, who are currently vying for the favourite tag at the top of the betting.

Their short prices have opened up the market for each-way options, however, especially with four places up for grabs in certain quarters.
The two bottom weights, Bloomin Robbery and Burtonlodge Beauty both have a stone advantage on the rest of the field, and while that is for handicapping reasons, it might be enough to make them outrun their outsider prices if they have a good day and others falter.

Those two have both received some support among Tipstrr's each-way pundits, but garnering most support has been Jim Goldie's eight-year-old gelding One More Hug , who has made the frame in six of his ten starts this season, winning three of them.
Two of those were over the minimum trip, suggesting he won't mind a fast early pace, especially on suitable drying ground, while his six-furlong success on this track makes him the only runner apart from Kats Bob with course-distance winning form.
Regular jockey Joe Fanning is elsewhere today, but his replacement Paul Mulrennan has ridden One More Hug in the past, and boasts his own impressive record at this course (57 wins and another 89 frame finishes from 345 rides here over the last five years).
Suggested bet: One Last Hug each-way in the 19:37 at Ayr
