Newcastle each-way tip (1900): Rocket Rodney a good each-way option

The final race at Newcastle sees plenty of each-way value in the field with 14 coming to post and Tipstrr's each-way specialists have been feasting their eyes upon the line-up for this handicap.

If we go by the market then we're in for a treat with this one, with not much separating the market leaders at the time of writing.

The early betting suggests that King's Lynn will contend for Andrew Balding and Oisin Murphy.

The seven-year-old was narrowly beaten by Desperate Hero last time out at Goodwood, albeit over five furlongs, and the Balding-Murphy combination have enjoyed a good start to the season.

However, we think there's plenty of value to be had elsewhere, especially with the form that Bosh has shown recently.

Richard Hannon's charge has been in superb form on the all-weather over the past few months.

Bosh has finished in the top three in six of his seven all-weather outings since December, including wins at Chelmsford and Lingfield.

Despite the form of Bosh, those runs have come at Class 3 level and it remains to be seen how he deals with a step up in company.

Our selection for this one is Rocket Rodney, with the gelding looking to bring a bit of consistency to his performances.

The George-Scott-trained four-year-old has had mixed fortunes recently, with a trio of runs at Bahrain over the winter, which yielded two disappointing results and one win.

If Rocket Rodney can rekindle his 2022 form then he should be in with a chance of making the frame.

Six out of seven races that season resulted in top two finishes, including wins at Sandown and Goodwood.

With 14 coming to post and the reliable Callum Shepherd in the saddle, Rocket Rodney could well have a chance here and odds of 11/1 promise to give punters plenty of profit should he make the frame.

Suggested best bet: Rocket Rodney each-way in the 19:00 at Newcastle
