HALE END (10) got the better of his stablemate BOY DOUGLAS (8) when the duo finished first and second at Thirsk (1m) four weeks ago with the former holding strong claims off a 4lb higher mark while the latter cannot be left out of the equation having since shown a determined attitude to go one better over 1m at Ayr. The consistent ZOZIMUS (6) also requires consideration.
