ROYAL OPTIMISM (11) resumed from a lay-off last start with a sound third over 7½f at this track. Hard to beat in this suitable race. BORN SURVIVOR (1) fought on for second last start over 1m at Hanging Rock, making it two minor placings in a row. Meets some better types this time but a win is not out of the question. ANGEL FEET (4) is a six-start maiden who resumed from a lay-off last start and was beaten 7 lengths when eighth over 7½f at this track. Will derive great benefit from that outing and deserves consideration.
