ZING TO ME (5) was in the money two starts back at Hawkesbury then missed the frame but was not too far away last time over 4½f at Newcastle. Has a strong finish. Best figures stack up and looks well placed to get off the mark. BENEVAC (6) is a maiden galloper who hasn't raced since finishing 6 lengths back in eighth over 5f in the LR Lonhro Plate at Randwick six-and-a-half months ago. Filled a minor placing in a recent Rosehill trial. Leading contender. GAMP (3) finished third last start over 5½f at Hawkesbury to make it five minor placings from six runs. Goes well here with two top-three finishes to her credit. Sure to be about the mark. DEEP AFFECTION (10) returns after six months in the paddock. Closed the last campaign with a 12th over 6f in the G2 Sweet Embrace Stakes at Randwick. Has ability and must be included in calculations.
