SAPLING (9) is a four-start maiden who almost broke the ice last time out when a close second over 6¾f at this track after being in the firing line on the bend. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. SIXTIES (6) debuted two-and-a-half weeks ago when he finished eighth over 5½f at Gosford, beaten 3 lengths. Better for that run and can improve sharply. VALENTIAGO (16) is a two-start maiden who resumed from a lay-off last start and was beaten 7 lengths when fourth over 6f at Gosford. Definite top-three hope with plenty of improvement to come.
