TANGO QUEEN (12) is racing well without being able to break through, the latest effort a third over 7f at Newcastle three weeks ago. Has a win and three minor placings at this trip from six starts so a well-deserved win is on the cards. BONUS TEMPUS (15) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a strong race last time out, finishing fourth and beaten only 1.5 lengths over 1m2f at Bathurst when he did his best work late. Meets a stronger field but he is good enough to take this out. POCKET EIGHTS (9) has been in the money at his last couple of runs, the latest when second over 7f122yards at Port Macquarie. Will find this a little tougher but can measure up. MY MATE KATE (13) turned in a nice effort to score two runs ago but was not as effective last time out when fourth over 1m at Gosford, beaten 3.5 lengths. Finds a suitable race and can figure prominently.
