LIGHTS OF PARADISE (8) debuted with a win two runs ago. Couldn't follow that up last time out when in contention on the bend before winding up in third over 6½f at Scone, beaten 2.25 lengths. Steps up a level but she is good enough. LET'S GO JOHNNY (3) ran below expectations last time at Scone, finishing fifth and beaten 7 lengths starting at 11/2. Worth noting Jenny Duggan goes aboard. Likely improver with strong prospects. WOODLANDER (2) was unwanted in betting last start but performed beyond expectations when beaten 0.9 lengths into second over 6f at Newcastle. Can play a role again.
