GRASSBURN (12) settled well back from a wide draw last time then wound up strongly to finish fourth over 5½f at Warwick Farm. Outsprinted in the run home but kept coming and the longer journey looks ideal. Well placed and hard to hold off. LONE FORCE (7) resumed from a lay-off last start with a sound third over 6½f at Hawkesbury when he worked home well. Meets a stronger field but he is up to the task. SPANISH FOX (9) returns after a lay-off of four months. Started the last campaign impressively when in the placings over 6½f at this track. Has to be respected. ELLE HUDSON (4) is a two-start maiden who returned last time and finished sixth at Kembla Grange over 6f, beaten 3.5 lengths. Bold showing expected with added fitness this time.
