WILD FLASH (7) could only manage sixth when resuming two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 7f at Hawkesbury, beaten only 1.4 lengths after being in contention on the turn. It doesn't get any easier but on his best form he is one of the chief contenders. CREEK (1) is ready to win after he just missed last time, beaten a long neck into third over 6f at Pakenham. Stepping up a level this time but on his best form he is capable of a big performance. Group 3 placegetter MAKE A CALL (3) is a 19-start maiden finding who is knocking on the door, the last run a commendable second at this track over 6¾f after he made late inroads. Ideally placed to shed the maiden tag. SUMMER SOIREE (8) was in the firing line on the bend and finished second last time over 6½f at Hawkesbury, beaten 1.1 lengths. Will trim down following recent racing. In the right race and is one of the better hopes.
