ALA TURKA (6) drifted well back and failed to finish it off last start when fourth, beaten 4.5 lengths, over 6f at this track. Beautifully placed and is sure to be there at the finish. CRIMSON NIGHTS (3) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with just two wins from 25 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fourth over 5½f at Fort Erie, beaten 6 lengths. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run. SLOANS SKY (5) has switched yards since scoring by 3 lengths at this track over 6f on June 27. Worth plenty of thought. IMA BEAST (4) returns from a lay-off. Finished sixth at this track and distance at her only appearance last prep nine weeks ago. Has to be respected.
