VENENCIA (5) ran fourth at her latest appearance over 1m1/2f at Churchill Downs, clocking in 3 lengths from the winner. Should be in the finish. CREVALLE D'ORO (1) settled well back then picked up fairly well in the straight and finished 3.5 lengths away in seventh last time out over 1m at this track three weeks ago. Steps up in distance. Patrick Husbands who has two wins when partnering stays on. Certainly one to consider. READY FOR SHIRL (4) is building towards a win with placings at her last two runs, the latest effort a second over 1m at Group 2 level at this track when beaten 0.8 lengths. Should be in the mix again.
