NEVER BIRD (8) failed to run a strong 1m1f last start after a close second over 6f190yards at Cowra the run prior. Looks better placed over this shorter trip so she is right in this. MARGARET'S MISSILE (10) has switched yards since finishing seventh three-and-a-half weeks ago over 1m2f at Hawkesbury. One of the better hopes. AMANTAKA (6) was a most impressive maiden winner over 1m at Forbes last time out, scoring by 2.25 lengths. This is tougher but she is capable of another big run. HOT GOSPEL (7) turned in a modest performance when fifth last time out over 1m at Moree, beaten 4 lengths, after a win at Dubbo at the previous outing. Worth plenty of thought.
