JACKS AND SODA (4) started at 13/8 last time and ran below expectations, finishing sixth and beaten 4.5 lengths at Ipswich over 6¾f after being prominent at the corner. Bailey Wheeler gets the best out of this five-year-old gelding. Finds a more suitable contest and can turn things around. PAN A MILLION (2) started at 4/5 last time and ran below expectations, finishing fifth and beaten 4 lengths at Murwillumbah over 7¾f after being in the firing line on the corner. Finds a more suitable contest and can get the job done. PRETTY RHO (8) improved sharply on her seventh two starts back at Beaudesert with a win over 6¾f at this track a week-and-a-half ago, getting home by one length after being in contention on the bend. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. GROOVE JET (7) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 5½f at Toowoomba, beaten 2.25 lengths. Finds a suitable race and can go on to take this out.
