WINCHMAN (1) was below his best last time when sixth after being in the firing line on the turn over 6f at Doomben, beaten 4.5 lengths. Beautifully placed and is sure to take a ton of beating. GROOVE JET (7) broke her maiden three starts back and has not been far away since, most recently when beaten 2.25 lengths into third over 5½f at Toowoomba. Will find this a little easier than last time. Well placed so expecting a strong run. LITTLE SPARK (9) has progressed nicely in her last couple of runs. Finished second at Toowoomba two starts back then got the job done by a head as favourite last time out over 6f at Kilcoy. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. ZIMBARA (11) is back at the races for the first time since July 6. Worth noting she filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last time in work over 4f at Kilcoy. Hasn't scored when fresh from a break but generally races well with two minor placings. Has to be respected.
