HEADLINE LEGEND (3) hasn’t been far away since a maiden win three runs back, the latest effort a third over 6f at Ipswich on August 14. Will drift back but wind up late. Will prove hard to hold out. WANT TO BE PROUD (4) ran below expectations last time at this track, finishing eighth and beaten 3.5 lengths starting at 6/1. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. BEAT HOLLOW (1) progressed nicely last time out to finish just a neck from the winner in second over 7½f at Kilcoy after being in contention on the bend. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. CRYPT DE PIN (11) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 7½f at Kilcoy, beaten 5 lengths into eighth. Finds a nice race and can atone.
