PERFECT PLAY (6) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a nice race when fresh from a lay-off last time out, finishing second and beaten only a head over 7½f at Kembla Grange after being in the firing line on the corner. Finds a tougher race but this looks well within his grasp. COSMIC LAD (10) has good form including a last start win over 7½f at Kembla Grange when kept coming. Mitch Stapleford who has two wins when partnering stays on. Leading contender. SEVEN'S (3) was well in commission last time out but could only manage to finish sixth over 1m1f at Rosehill in a disappointing performance. Tackling a more suitable race this time so he can bounce back. BELLEISTIC KIDS (7) produced a reasonable effort when sixth last start over 1m at this track. That followed a win at Canberra the start prior. Likely improver with top-three prospects.
