Expected to go well if anywhere near his best. Group 1 placegetter STRAIT ACER (4) lines up on the back of a 2.25 lengths eighth over 6¾f at Doomben. Sure to prove tough to stop. DIAMOND DIESEL (12) drifted back from a good draw last time then wound up strongly to score a 1.3 lengths win over 7f at Randwick. Will find this much tougher but still has winning claims on his best figures. FELIX MAJESTIC (13) drifted back early when resuming last start and could only manage a 7 length 11th over 5½f in the LR June Stakes at Randwick. Has a solid second up record. Likely improver.
