NEED SOME LUCK (6) finished ninth when resuming two runs back then progressed nicely last time out after being prominent at the corner to score by 2 lengths over 6¼f at Canterbury. No reason he cannot salute again. Among the major players. KERGUELEN (11) wasted no time getting off the mark as favourite on debut over 6f at Kembla Grange five-and-a-half weeks ago. Has since been kept ticking over with a Rosehill trial. Will come on following that run definite threat. KANDINSKY ABSTRACT (7) hasn't raced since finishing 11th in the LR South Pacific Classic at Randwick and has been gelded in the break. Fitter for placing in a recent Rosehill trial. Goes very well fresh scoring two wins from three starts. Not to be underestimated.
