MOTIVER (6) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at Geelong, finishing third and only 0. 8 lengths from the winner at the end of 1m4 1/4f after being prominent at the corner. Meeting a deeper field this time but he is good enough to play a major role. REDDIVO (3) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a strong race last time out, finishing second and beaten only a nose over 1m4 1/4f at Geelong when he did his best work late. Meeting a tougher field but on his best form he is good enough to take this out. SUNDAY BUZZ (4) has been out of the winner's list for a long time, last start finishing fifth at Casterton over 2m1 1/2f. Yet to miss the frame in two starts over this course and distance. Placed to advantage and can feature in the finish. TRIORA (7) hasn't been able to break through for an extended period, the latest effort a sixth over 1m4 1/4f at Geelong after being handy for much of the way. Best figures measure up nicely. Can play a significant role.
