Has the gate speed to take up a forward position. Leading contender. THE VICTORIOUS (4) was in contention all the way and fought on for third last start over 1m3f at Donald, making it two minor placings in a row. Wide draw and will need a good steer from Will Gordon. Finds a tougher race but a win is not out of the question. JANEY BOPPER (8) was sent out favourite last time when third over 1m1f at Casterton. The extra journey should play into her hands. Right in the mix. SPECKY BOY (3) drifted back and never threatened when 12th last start over 6f at Ballarat Synthetic. Nicely placed to turn things around.
