This is a nice drop in grade so he will be hard to beat. DIGARI (3) kicked off this campaign with a win two runs ago. Couldn't follow that up last time out when seventh over 7f at Bendigo, beaten 5.5 lengths. Ideally placed and is sure to be there at the finish. GOLDEN MIKKI (6) finished second two runs back at Hamilton then improved last time out to score by a head over 1m at Warracknabeal. Will Gordon scored on him last time and retains the mount. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. FRENCH NAVY (4) was safely held when seventh last time out over 1m at Sandown-Lakeside, beaten 6 lengths, after a win at this track at the previous outing. Best figures measure up so deserves another chance.
