FURRINA (3) showed good early dash and led throughout to score by a neck last time out over 5½f at Naracoorte. Should measure up again. MOAKSUN (6) registered his first win last start over 5½f at Ballarat Synthetic, getting home by 1.75 lengths. John Allen was in the saddle on that occasion and retains the mount. Progressing well so worth following up. STARGUST (5) did little and finished 3.5 lengths from the winner in tenth over 6f at Geelong last start, a less impressive effort than his fourth at this track the run before. This doesn't look as hard so he is one of the main contenders. RIVKIN (1) hasn't made an impression lately despite market confidence. Last start could only manage ninth over 6f32yards at Geelong. Can improve and is worth including.
