RIVERINA POWER (8) was out of the money when resuming two runs back then again missed the frame last start when she was never in contention over 7f at Pakenham, beaten 4.5 lengths into sixth. Has the talent to figure prominently. PRECIOUS CHARM (5) was well supported when resuming last time out over 6f at this track and proved too strong, scoring by one length. BELTHIL (1) was in the firing line on the turn and finished second last time over 7½f at Moonee Valley, beaten 0.8 lengths. Ideally placed and is sure to give this a mighty shake. NEW SOVEREIGN (7) raced on the speed from the outset and went to score by one length last time over 7f at Seymour. Among the top-three contenders.
