CHIPILLY (12) missed the frame on debut then improved last time when 3.5 lengths away in second over 7f at Sandown-Hillside. Well placed and can get off the mark this time. PENDLE HILL (6) has put together back-to-back placings, the latest when 0.7 lengths away in third over 7f at Bendigo. Nicely placed to feature in the finish. O'CALDINO (5) made progress last time out, finishing 2.75 lengths from the winner in third at the end of 1m at Echuca after being in contention on the turn. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. BACK OF THE BOAT (1) hit the frame when resuming two runs back at Casterton but couldn't back it up last start when 11th, beaten 8 lengths, over 7f at Terang. Nicely placed to turn things around.
