ELVISON (11) led throughout last time over 2m3f at Casterton on a soft ground and scored a comfortable win. Gets some weight relief this time and sure to go close if runs up to latest effort. THE TRUE BELIEVER (4) started at 8/1 last time and ran below expectations, finishing seventh and beaten 8 lengths at Geelong over 1m4f. Facing a tougher assignment but he is up to the task. NO MATTER WHAT (8) was unwanted in betting last start but performed beyond expectations when beaten a head into third over 1m2f at this track. Will drift back but wind up late. Watch for a big run. MODERNISSIMO (2) was well in commission last time out but could only manage to finish fifth over 1m4f at Moe in a disappointing performance. Must raise the bar but a form turnaround is not out of the question.
